The year is 1976, and the magical world is plagued by an evil wizard known as Lord Voldemort. This merciless tyrant is quickly gaining power, and already has a group of loyal followers he calls the Death Eaters. Now safety has vanished, and Great Britain has been tossed into a war against evil. Lately an opposing force has been forming, lead by the powerful wizard Albus Dumbledore, and they are calling themselves the Order of the Phoenix. But will this group be enough to stop the greatest dark wizard of all time?
Life must go on, even if the world is slowly breaking apart. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has kept its doors open to anyone willing to learn, though even some of the students are in league with the Dark Lord. Nobody can be sure who to trust, and everyone must be on their toes. The Marauders are in their prime, and continuously cause mischief and mayhem.
Muggleborns and muggles must live in constant fear, while the purebloods are at the height of power. It's common for people to suddenly go missing, or to be found dead in their homes. Friends are turning against each other and new enemies can be found everyday. Nobody is safe so long as they oppose the Dark Lord, and more and more witches and wizards are losing their hope everyday.
